Ley Lines Map UK - The Old Straight Track - Ben Lovegrove

Hutton, Ronald (2009). "Modern Druidry and Earth Mysteries". Time and Mind: The Journal of Archaeology, Consciousness and Culture. 2 (3): 313–331. doi: 10.2752/175169609X12464529903137. S2CID 143506407. For those who don’t know, the term ‘ley line’ was coined by amateur archaeologist Alfred Watkins in the 1920s, and refers to alignments between structures and landmarks via straight lines. Being able to draw connections between them in this way is inevitable given the sheer number of them. Hauser, Kitty (2008). Bloody Old Britain: O. G. S. Crawford and the Archaeology of Modern Life. London: Granta. ISBN 978-1-84708-077-6. Ley lines are kind of like latitudinal and longitudinal lines in one sense: They're not lines we can actually see in the real world. But the theory is that big, important monuments (think Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Giza) are all running on a kind of energy highway that "connects" them.Kendall, David G. (May 1989). "A Survey of the Statistical Theory of Shape". Statistical Science. 4 (2): 87–99. doi: 10.1214/ss/1177012582. JSTOR 2245331. However, it is also true that if you place a hundred random points on a map, much of them will, too, appear to show correlation and alignment. Monuments and historical landmarks in Britain are, to say the least, extremely numerous. We see how certain frequencies cause vibrations that form specific geometric patterns. These patterns are part of a larger scheme and lead to sacred geometry theory (9). Sacred geometry is the idea that geometric shapes are the infrastructure for the universe. So what is the most current thoughts on Ley Lines among the UM'ers? I've always found them rather interesting - He also believed that a darker truth might explain some of the standing stones he encountered in the Herefordshire countryside. For instance, the Queens Stone in the village of Symonds Yat has strange grooves painstakingly carved into its exterior, which Watkins dubiously imagined may have been used as slots for wooden poles to hold prisoners who were the victims of human sacrifice rituals.

(Oct. 3, 2023) https://www.bbc.com/travel/article/20191104-the-ancient-network-that-links-britain Easter Island is a small island in the South Pacific Ocean. It is famous for the statues of the giant alien-looking faces — the Moai. Easter Island is remote, some 2,300 miles from the west coast of Chile and 2,500 miles east of Tahiti. Our bodies contain the essence of these intricate patterns. Perhaps that is why ley lines and vibrational geometry draw our attention. After all, we are part of the planet Earth. References The idea now more than before is that these ley lines link up under the entire world. They represent ancient points of great energy, placed by a culture we no longer remember.
